Welcome to the seventh year of the Women in Science Lecture Series! We are pleased to announce that the lecture series will feature alumnae of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Our first talk will be on Tuesday, September 8, 12-1 PM Central with Dr. Krista Habing. Dr. Habing earned her B.S. in Bioengineering at Illinois in 2020 and her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Oregon Health and Science University in 2025, and is currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Naba Lab at the University of Illinois Chicago. She will discuss her doctoral work on aging, skeletal muscle regeneration, and tissue engineering. We hope you can join us!

You can register at https://go.library.illinois.edu/Sept2026WISLecture. Light refreshments provided for in-person attendees.

All lectures are hybrid and can be attended in person (room 146, University Archives, Main Library) or via Zoom.
