In the Episcopal Church, services on this day feature the distinctive ceremonies of the blessing of palms and procession, representing Christ’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem the week before the Resurrection, and the reading of the Passion Gospel from Saints Matthew, Mark, or Luke.
