Carle Illinois College of Medicine is pleased to host Dr. Arnold for his Tenure Talk, to highlight his innovative thinking and his many notable scholarly achievements in research, teaching, and clinical and professional service. Please join us in recognizing the broad impact and significant contributions that Dr. Arnold has made to Carle Illinois, to his field, and to society.
Paul Arnold, MD, is a neurosurgeon and Associate Medical Director of the Carle Neuroscience Institute. Dr. Arnold is also a clinical investigator with the Stephens Family Clinical Research Institute at Carle and a clinical professor with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine. He received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago where he also completed his residency in neurosurgery. He completed a fellowship in spine surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. Dr. Arnold’s medical interests include spine trauma, cervical spine trauma, and complex spine surgery. His research interests include spine degeneration, cervical spine surgery, big data, robotics, and navigation.
