Center for Innovation in Teaching & Learning

Active Learning is a central principle of good teaching.  But if some or all of your class will be online, how do you make sure your students are being active with the material?  In this session, we’ll examine what kinds of activities work online, and participate in some learning activities ourselves.

This workshop is part of the 2020 Summer Workshop Series.  Each workshop in the series involves pre-work to complete before attending a Zoom session.  Register to be sent the Zoom link for the session and to be informed of the pre-work.

Completing the pre-work and participating in the Zoom session will count for 1.5 hours towards the workshop requirement of the Graduate Teacher Certificate or the Certificate in Foundations of Teaching.
