Join AACC for a film discussion about This Little Land of Mines (Journeyman Pictures, 2019) and the environmental impact of militarism in Southeast Asia. Program will be facilitated by Sera Koulabdara, CEO of Legacies of War. Legacies of War aims to educate and mobilize individuals on the issue of UXO in Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia, and also to encourage the diaspora in the U.S. to embrace and preserve their shared history of war and refuge. By transforming our experiences of shame and pain into narratives of resilience, cultural pride, and healing, Legacies of War strives to empower these individuals and promote a deeper sense of community and belonging.
