Title:    Random Cell Complexes and Lattice Gauge Theory.
Abstract:      Percolation theory offers a different perspective on certain statistical physics problems by translating them to questions about random graphs, often making them more tractable. This philosophy can be extended to higher dimensions, in which random graphs are replaced by less well-understood random cell complexes. We will discuss some recent progress in understanding percolation complexes, along with an application to a simplified model of lattice gauge theory. Based on joint work with Ben Schweinhart and David Sivakoff.
