Title: Log-concave polynomials and matroids over triangular hyperfields

Continuing the first lecture, I will formulate some general conjectures on projection volumes of n-dimensional convex bodies. This leads to an intricate relationship between Grassmannians over hyperfields and the space of log-concave polynomials. The main result is the identification of the space of multiaffine log-concave polynomials with a given support and the corresponding matroid strata in the Grassmannain over the triangular hyperfield, up to homeomorphism. The talk will be accessible to general mathematical audience.  Based on joint work with Matt Baker, Mario Kummer, Oliver Lorscheid.
