Mathematics Seminar Series: Groups, Geometry, and Topology

Abstract: I will explain a new approach to categorifying the spin colored SO(2n + 1) Reshetikhin-Turaev link polynomial by ``folding" SL(2n) homology. To develop this approach I will mention: skew Howe duality, categorical braid group actions, i-quantum groups, and graphical calculus for SO(2n + 1) centralizer algebras. This is based on joint work with B.Elias and D.Rose (arXiv:2407.00189).
