Title: Norm attainment of lattice homomorphisms

Abstract: The classical James theorem says that all continuous linear functionals on a Banach space E attain their norms iff E is reflexive, and so it is a topological property, stable under renormings. In this talk we will look at the functionals which preserve additional structure on a Banach lattice, namely lattice homomorphisms. In particular, we will explore to which extent norm attainment of such functionals is stable under renormings.
