This interactive workshop is sponsored by Student Affairs - Professional Development Committee and will take place in person at Illini Union.
We will explore the nature and sources of workplace conflict. After that, we will examine the most appropriate conflict management strategies to use in different workplace situations. There will be practical, team-based activities as well as a personal assessment of each participant's conflict management style.
All Student Affairs staff are encouraged to attend this in-person event. You are asked to obtain advance approval from your supervisor to attend this event, if necessary. Please bring a laptop or smart phone in order to complete the online assessments that will form part of this training.
