Towards Curve Counting Invariants III: Stable pairs invariant and its deformation-obstruction theory
Abstract: This is the third talk in the series on curve counting invariants after GW theory and DT theory. I will introduce the stable pairs invariant (PT theory) and explain why stable pairs could be treated in the derived category. I will then focus on the deformation-obstruction theory by constructing a "universal" def-obs theory using Atiyah and Kodaira-Spencer class which applies to both DT and PT theory.
