Towards Curve Counting Invariants II: Donaldson–Thomas invariant and moduli of (semi-)stable sheaves (Part 2)
Abstract: Continuing from last week's talk, I will construct the moduli space of (semi-)stable sheaves as a GIT quotient. And then show the existence of the moduli space of ideal sheaves with fixed Euler characteristics and Chern classes. If time permits, I will briefly introduce deformation theory in moduli problems and specifically the deformation of sheaves.
