New advances in greedy approximation theory

The purpose of this talk is to introduce some new results concerning greedy-like bases. Concretely, we will talk about some new characterizations of greediness in terms of polynomials with constant coefficients and, moreover, we will show relations between general approximation spaces with some greedy-like classes of approximation. The results presented in this talk are in some joint preprints with D. González, H. Viet Chu, M. Berasategui and E. Hernández.
