Dr. Cheryl Rosenfeld, an internationally recognized reproductive biologist, veterinarian, and avid birder, has traveled to some of the world’s most remote places to observe and photograph avian species. She shares how her passion for birds has challenged her, made her more resilient, and provided life lessons applicable to the veterinary profession and beyond.

Dr. Rosenfeld is a professor at the University of Missouri and a Fellow of the AAAS. A 1995 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine, she also works part-time as an emergency veterinarian. Read her post about using phone apps to document species she has encountered.

The talk will be held in Room 2251 of the Veterinary Medicine Basic Sciences Building, located at 2001 S. Lincoln Ave., Urbana, Illinois.

Registration requested because a pizza lunch will be provided.
