Abstract:
In this talk, I will discuss my approach to teaching with a particular focus on the management and structuring of large classes. I will show how I apply my philosophy of engaging students in interactive and inclusive classrooms to the discrete mathematics courses that I have taught.  Special attention will be given to managing course staff and to the role of learning tools and infrastructure. I will also discuss my aspirations for what I would like to do differently when teaching future discrete mathematics courses.
