Join DCGSAC for our 2021 Virtual Career Seminar Series scheduled on the second Fridays of July (July 9th), August (Aug 13th), and September (Sept 10th) at 12-1pm CDT. The Career Seminar Series is held annually and dedicated to providing graduate students and post-doctoral associates with information on a variety of career choices. Our first event in late May with Dr. Hugo Ong was a huge success, bringing us an informative and insightful conversation about the career as a financial analyst. Throughout the rest of the summer, the Series will feature three more alums working in assorted industrial or academic positions:
July 9th: Dr. Meredith Sellers, Senior Managing Engineer @Exponent
Aug 13th: Dr. Christine Herman, Journalist @Illinois Public Media
Sept 10th: Dr. Ryan Jadrich, Data Scientist and Computational Model Developer @Los Alamos National Lab
