About the Speaker
Jigar Shah is an internationally recognized energy entrepreneur, investor, and strategist, named to the TIME100 list of the world’s most influential people. He is Co-Managing Partner at Multiplier LLC and previously served as Director of the U.S. Department of Energy Loan Programs Office, where he led a major organizational transformation and oversaw $108 billion in financing for clean energy and advanced transportation projects across the United States.

He is Co-Founder and former President of Generate Capital, Founder of Sun Edison, and the founding CEO of the global nonprofit Carbon War Room. He also co-hosts the widely followed Open Circuit podcast. 

Shah holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from the University of Maryland.
