This mini presentation will provide an understanding of the history of these socially constructed terms. Throughout the development of the United States of America and up to the present, race and ethnicity have been used to describe and categorize people into various social groups based on characteristics like skin color, physical features, genetic heredity, culture, language, geolocation, and heritage.
