Join the Counseling Center for a powerful and affirming conversation that centers the experiences of LGBTQ+ individuals in discussions of sexual violence. “Lifting Queer Voices” highlights the unique challenges, barriers to support, and disparities faced by queer and trans communities, while amplifying voices that are too often overlooked. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how to support LGBTQ+ survivors, challenge harmful narratives, and contribute to safer, more inclusive communities.
Held in recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, this event creates space for learning, reflection, and solidarity. All are welcome to attend and be part of fostering awareness, empathy, and meaningful change.
