The Clothesline Project is a powerful visual representation of sexual violence statistics that are often overlooked. Each shirt in the display is created by a survivor or by a loved one. This project aims to raise awareness about the impact of sexual violence and abuse, honor the resilience of survivors, and offer them a platform to bravely break the silence that frequently surrounds their experiences.
Space will be held at the Women’s Resources Center for anyone who would like to participate in this project by decorating their own tshirt. Participants will have the opportunity to donate their tshirt to be displayed in the exhibit and/or take it home with them. All materials will be provided. Confidential Advisors will be present to offer support.
