This symposium will showcase the scientific research and education conducted across the Prairie Research Institute and its five scientific Surveys. The symposium is open to the public, and all are invited to attend. All PRI staff are invited to present their original research as a lightning talk or poster.

Lightning Talks: 9 AM – Noon (3 morning sessions, 6 talks/session)
Panel Q&A will be scheduled during breaks after each session.
Lunch: 12 – 1 PM
Posters (after lunch): 1 - 2:30 PM

Lightning Talks
Only 36 talk presentations will be accepted.
Talks will be 5 minutes: 20 slides, 15 seconds per slide, set to automatically advance (slides can be duplicated to reduce slide numbers). A template will be provided. We encourage presenters to take a diverse and creative approach to subject, structure, and theme.
A Panel Q&A will be scheduled during breaks after each session.
Posters
Posters can be up to 36” x 48”
We encourage posters produced for other conferences to be used here. If posters are created for this symposium, they can be LIGHTNING posters that clearly and quickly articulate scientific or research stories.
