Abstract: At The Nature Conservancy’s Nachusa Grasslands, a community of volunteers, staff, and scientists have applied adaptive management practices to continuously improve tallgrass prairie restoration outcomes for 40 years. In this talk, research scientist Dr. Elizabeth Bach will share the latest research insights into how planting practices, native herbivore grazing, and prescribed fire management all contribute to biodiversity at the preserve, for both plants and animals.
