OCR Event Manager - Master Calendar

The NIH Grant Writing Series, sponsored by the Interdisciplinary Health Sciences Institute, is designed to prepare early-career faculty and research scientists to submit an R01 or other individual investigator proposal to the NIH.

Each week will consist of seminar and discussion sessions led by faculty who have demonstrated a history of success with NIH proposals and will address various aspects of the grant submission process. Registrants may attend one, some, or all sessions.

This session provides an overview of the structure of the NIH and the various funding mechanisms. Participants will learn to effectively communicate with Program Officers and get tips for planning a successful NIH proposal.
