Dr. Josek will be discussing microscopy tools at the Beckman Institute that can be used for research and Bugscope, a free outreach program focused on bring insects and microscopy to classrooms. Bugscope started in 1998 and has engaged with classroom across all 50 states as well as 8 countries outside the US. As a part of this presentation, Colloquium attendees will be able to participate in a live Bugscope session.
