In this talk, Qinyun Cai will explore the vast potential of The National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) in driving public health research. NHANES serves as a unique and accessible resource for researchers to investigate the complex interplay between environmental exposures, lifestyle factors, and chronic diseases. Cai will also offer insights from her own research, including the use of NHANES data and Environment-Wide Association Study (EWAS) methods to uncover environmental and dietary factors linked to kidney stone disease. By leveraging NHANES, we can generate high-impact, data-driven discoveries that inform prevention strategies and improve population health outcomes.
