MAXQDA is a robust software for analyzing qualitative data, including text, media, and survey data. MAXQDA is available for free to all campus users via Illinois Computes. This workshop is the second in a three-part series on using MAXQDA for analyzing qualitative data and does assumes that you know how create, manage, and use documents and codes in MAXQDA.
By the end of this workshop, we hope you'll be able to:
- Create a code system in MAXQDA by importing existing code files or manually adding new codes.
- Apply codes to text, media, and survey data, both manually and automatically using keyword searches.
- Organize codes using sets.
- Add comments, paraphrases, and summaries to coded segments.
- Use activation to view data for specific codes and documents.
- Set up a project for multiple coders in a way that facilitates inter-rater reliability assessments.
THIS SESSION WILL BE TAUGHT ON ZOOM (YOUR REGISTRATION + REMINDER EMAILS WILL INCLUDE THE LINK).
