Religious Observances

The Feast of the Nativity of Jesus Christ, which celebrates the Incarnation of God taking on human flesh in the person of Jesus Christ. The Eucharist is central to this festival as indicated by its name, which is literally “Christ-mass” meaning the “Eucharist celebrating Christ.” It is celebrated by erecting Christmas trees, decorating homes, visiting family and friends and exchanging gifts. Some students or employees may request scheduling accommodations in order to observe.
