Dr. Hey-Colón is assistant professor at Temple University, her work is situated at the intersection of Afro-Latinx and Caribbean Studies. Her current book project, Channeling Knowledges: Afro-Diasporic Waters in Latinx and Caribbean Worlds, is forthcoming with University of Texas Press.
