Part 2 of the 5-Part CQA Series will focus on subgrade preparation for flexible geomembranes. This course will describe the requirements for subgrade preparation before a flexible geomembrane is deployed, such as maximum rock size allowed, presence of water, degree of compaction, moisture content, compactive effort, and smooth rolling the surface before geomembrane installation. Quality control techniques for checking the subgrade compaction will also be discussed.
