As climate stress intensifies, communities need more than mitigation; they need meaning, connection, and care. This session introduces Nurtured in Nature, a BIPOC-led wellness initiative that fosters climate resilience through culturally grounded experiences in nature. By centering the healing relationships between land, identity, and community, the program creates space for Black, Indigenous, and people of color to reconnect with the outdoors as a source of strength, belonging, and environmental justice. Join Natural Resources & Environmental Sciences M.S. Candidate Tomas Delgado to explore how centering wellness and equity can strengthen our collective response to environmental change.
