Foundations are increasingly prioritizing direct engagement and community impact in their funding decisions. Please join us on April 19 at noon for an information-packed webinar featuring two foundations funding engaged research that centers on health equity: the MacArthur Foundation and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. In order to help participants improve their own applications, Carle Illinois College of Medicine Associate Dean for Diversity and Democratization of Health Innovation and Professor Ruby Mendenhall and Professor Andrew Greenlee will speak about their successes with these funders. Rajeev Malik and Julie Elzanati from the Office of Foundation Relations will augment the discussion with an overview of each foundation and best practices learned while serving campus. Participants are invited to ask questions of the panelists.
This event is jointly hosted by the Interdisciplinary Health Sciences Institute and Office of Foundation Relations. A recording for the first webinar in the series, focused on McCormick, Spencer, and Kellogg Foundations, is also available.
