Sometimes the world arrives in the classroom before we do. Elections, public debates, breaking news, social media, and campus events can shape how students engage, participate, and make sense of their learning. This workshop invites faculty to explore how current events influence classroom dynamics and to share approaches for supporting student learning when uncertainty, change, and public attention enter the conversation.
