Center for Innovation in Teaching & Learning

CITL and the ESL-ITA Program are offering a series of three weekly workshops to help graduate students prepare for the English Proficiency Interview (EPI). Attendance is free, but registration is required at https://go.illinois.edu/EPI_Workshop_Registration.

Session 1 will focus on defining terms.

  • This session is offered from 6:00pm to 7:00pm on February 9, 2021.

Session 2 will focus on clarification and negotiation strategies and answering open-ended questions.

  • This session is offered from 6:00pm to 7:00pm on February 16, 2021.

Session 3 will focus on practicing answering interview questions and completing sample EPIs with other workshop participants.

  • This session is offered from 6:00pm to 7:00pm on February 23, 2021.
