AbstractNeutral atoms trapped in optical tweezers have shown great potential as a platform for quantum computing; however, scalable system size is constrained by limited fluorescence collection efficiency and by the number of traps that can be accommodated within a single vacuum chamber. We present an architecture that integrates optical tweezers with a high-finesse optical cavity to address both limitations. The cavity enhances photon collection through Purcell-enhanced emission while simultaneously providing a photonic interface that enables inter-node connectivity beyond a single chamber. We review the basic principles of a cold atom experiment and optical cavities, and present experimental results on the integration of atoms, cavity, and tweezers. Finally, we outline the implementation of remote atom-atom entanglement as a step toward a quantum network.
