This webinar will propose a reliability analysis for geosynthetic lined landfill slopes that employs the procedure in Duncan (2000) and a variation of 5-15% in the input parameters to assess the sensitivity of each parameter. Additionally, a random distribution is introduced to accommodate uncertainty in: (1) shear displacements induced, and thus mobilized interface strength, in a bottom liner system, (2) waste unit weight, and (3) leachate level in the landfill to assess their impact on probability of failure. 1.0 PDH
