Tech Services Cloud Seminar: Generative AI with AWS - January 24, 2024
The AWS Higher Education Team will be visiting the University of Illinois on January 24th from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the NCSA Auditorium. Participants will hear from guest speakers about how AWS is working to empower students, faculty, and staff to embrace artificial intelligence. You can join the presentation in-person or online.
As The University seeks to innovate to meet new challenges and provide enhanced experiences for the UIUC community, leveraging the power of technology to augment capacity and enhance efficiency becomes a critical path forward. Artificial intelligence offers exciting opportunities to enhance learning and scholarship and accelerate research but also to drastically enhance efficiency by augmenting many administrative processes across campus. In this session, AWS will share more about how we are working with higher education institutions nationwide to empower students, faculty and staff to embrace artificial intelligence as a means to enhance agency, access and operations.

When is the event?
Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) building, 1205 W Clark St., Urbana, IL. Lunch will be served from noon to 1:00 pm in the NCSA atrium, followed by presentations and demos from 1:00 to 5:00 pm in the NCSA auditorium on generative AI and innovation.
