A continuing bi-weekly meeting that welcomes any doctoral student preparing to become a doctoral candidate.
There are at least as many ways to advance to candadacy as there are faculty members, but some things are universal.
The goals of the working group are: to exchange approaches to handling the literature, the writing and the pressure, to have an informal forum to ask for tips from other campus doctoral students, and to provide a bi-weekly nudge to get some studying done.
