Join Allerton Natural Areas staff for Fall Bird Hikes on Fridays, Sept. 6 through Oct. 25 from 9 to 11 a.m. Hikes typically begin from the Main Parking Lot. If the starting location changes, participants will receive an email. New location information will also be posted on the Allerton Park Bird Club Facebook page.
In the fall, birds begin to move south and each week the variety of bird species in the park will change. A limited number of binoculars will be available on a first-come basis. At times the hikes will leave the trails, so please dress accordingly.
$5/person. Register here. Hikes are free for Allerton Bird Club members. Join the Bird Club here. All sales are final. If a meeting location changes, registrants and bird club members will be notified by email.
