Littles and their grownups are invited to explore how nature and art are blended at Allerton Park! The workshop, held in collaboration with the Monticello Area Arts Council, will start with a group nature walk to learn about Allerton’s prairie, garden, or pond landscapes, and finish with art exploration. Geared for 3 to 5-year-olds, your child will create art inspired by the ecosystem you visit together — a product of your little’s imagination and hands! This workshop will focus on the art of making prints. So, prepare for a messy kiddo!
Cost is $40, which covers an adult/child pair. Register here. All sales are final.
Snacks and art materials will be provided. Please bring a water bottle and wear appropriate attire for hiking and painting. You’re welcome to bring your own picnic lunch and socialize with other Trees and Saplings after the workshop!
