The Library has several locations open to welcome admitted students. Stop by to learn more about the libraries at Illinois. Check out the locations and hours below.
Main Library
Join us for tours—plus, grab some free swag! The Main Library building will be open from 9:00am to 5:00pm with staff-led tours between 10:00am and 1:00pm, starting in the first-floor Library Gallery. There are also self-guided tour options. Central Access Services, the Literatures and Languages Library, the International and Area Studies Library, and the Social Science, Health, and Education Library will be open. GELIC will open at 9:00am, as well as the IDEA Lab. Tours will be offered at :15 and :45 past the hour, starting at the first-floor Information Desk, between 9:15am and 12:45pm.Other locations open:
