Come learn about Beckman’s newest user facility, the Illinois Polymer Maker Laboratory.
IPML is a new facility for automated, high-throughput formulation and characterization of polymer-based formulations that will be opening Aug. 24. The key modules of the lab include formulation and mixing, rheology, differential scanning calorimetry and infrared imaging during polymer curing.
The lab is capable of handling a wide range of formulations for applications such as coatings, adhesives, thermoset resins, hydrogels, polymers for extrusion-based additive manufacturing, consumer product and food products.
Come and learn about the capabilities of the facility and how interested users can get access to the space. The information session will be run by the IPML Manager Dan Krogstad Research Engineer Ngoc Nguyen and key personnel from the companies who built and installed the equipment, Labman Automation and Anton Paar.
If you are not available to come in person, you may use this Zoom link to attend. We look forward to seeing all of the interested users!
