Learning objectives are the foundation of a good course. After all, you are offering your course for a reason, right? Your students are supposed to learn something or learn how to do something because of your course. You must be clear about these objectives so you can build a course that helps students achieve them. In this workshop, you’ll get some practice using Bloom’s Taxonomy to set objectives at the appropriate level, and you’ll learn about other important aspects of crafting good learning objectives.

This workshop is part of the What You Need to Know: Essentials of Course Design summer series. You may sign up for any or all of the workshops in the series using the registration form. If you register, you'll eventually be added to a Canvas course to help follow along with the series.

This workshop counts towards the Graduate Teacher Certificate or the Certificate in Foundations of Teaching.
