Anderson groups members are here this week to present a $60K scholarship check to the department and to share their career experiences with current students.
Speakers/Titles: Dr. Ron Peterson will talk about "Experimental Work Pays Off" and Dr. James Katerberg will talk about "Applying our Knowledge Broadly"
Abstract: Dr. Peterson will "talk about the breadth of skills in a physics graduate degree and how they can power an industrial career. I became VP of technology for Honeywell with a half dozen research labs. I will mention three profound experiences that have shaped my life and why spending years to get a PhD is worth the effort."
