More Info:

Both Europe and the United States are central to shaping a more sustainable agricultural future. To overcome mutual challenges and to provide joint global leadership for the future of agriculture, a better mutual understanding of different agricultural practices, standards, and ideas is needed. The U.S.-German Forum for the Future of Agriculture project, led by the Aspen Institute Germany together with implementing partner, the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, addresses this need by bringing together German and U.S. farmers and other key agricultural stakeholders. During this virtual event to culminate the first cohort of the project, participants from Germany, Europe, and the United States will convene to discuss the future of agriculture with a transatlantic lens and discuss the policy recommendations developed in the context of the project with U.S. and European representatives from politics, research, business, and practice.
