Malay Sapra graduated from UIUC in 2016 with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering as a first-generation college student. He also graduated with a minor in Leadership Studies. Malay interned at several companies before graduation in various roles within manufacturing engineering, business portfolio management, and regulatory. Eventually, he decided to become a consultant after being motivated by the wide variety of clients, types of projects, and high-performing teams to learn and grow from.
Malay has been in the consulting and professional services space for the last 8 years, having worked at 3 different companies. He started his career at PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers) as an Associate and was promoted to Senior Associate, focused on projects related to sales, service, marketing, and commerce. From there he joined Kibo Commerce during the pandemic to serve as a Strategy Consultant for their personalization products. In late 2021, Malay joined KPMG as a Manager to help build their Connected Commerce practice.
Currently, Malay has been exploring people development within KPMG leveraging his background in technology and process improvement. He has obtained 2 life coaching certifications. Malay hopes to create a balance between his career experiences and skills along with his passion for people development that allows him to help people grow and be the best versions of themselves in all aspects of their lives.
