Amer Haider is a technology entrepreneur based in Silicon Valley. Amer’s expertise spans from deep technology in semiconductor security to creating a pioneering Digital Health SaaS company. As the co-founder and CEO of Doctella, he grew the company until its acquisition by Masimo in 2018. Today, Doctella is known as Masimo SafetyNet, a SaaS remote patient monitoring (RPM) solution that provides home-based monitoring for over 1,000 hospitals. Over 1M patients used the solution during the COVID-19 pandemic. During his career, he served as VP GM of Marvell's Security Business Unit. He was VP of Corporate Development at Cavium, where he completed over $1B of acquisitions, significantly increasing shareholder value. His experience includes building and leading high-performing teams, crafting new product lines, and executing strategic growth initiatives. He actively contributes to helping startups as a board member, angel investor, and advisor. Amer holds master's degrees in General Engineering 99' and Business Administration 99' from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. To address medical congenital medical conditions impacting his family, he co-founded nonprofit organizations GrowingStronger.org and FixClubFoot.org. Outside the boardroom, Amer actively engages in triathlons, running, and outdoor expeditions and is passionate about continuous personal growth and exploration.
