Join the Office of External Fellowships and the Siebel School Awards Team for a brief introduction to the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program opportunity. In this workshop, students will learn important information about eligibility, required documents for application, the program solicitation, and more. There will be time for participant Q&As at the end of the session. No registration is required.

The purpose of the NSF-GRF is to help ensure the quality, vitality, and diversity of the scientific and engineering workforce of the United States. A goal of the program is to broaden participation of the full spectrum of diverse talents in STEM. Applicants must be one of the following: an undergraduate senior or college graduate preparing to enter graduate school; a 1st-year graduate student; a 2nd-year graduate student; or a currently unenrolled returning graduate student. The NSF-GRF is open only to US citizens, nationals, and permanent residents.

The five-year fellowship provides three years of financial support inclusive of an annual stipend of $37,000.

For more information on the NSF-GRF, please read the Program Solicitation and see the Fellowship Finder page for this opportunity.
