The Zhejiang University (ZJU) and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (Illinois) have formed a joint research enterprise, DYNAMIC RESEARCH ENTERPRISE FOR MULTIDISCIPLINARY ENGINEERING SCIENCES (DREMES).
DREMES is a unique umbrella for active collaborations among ZJU, Illinois, and the existing joint ZJU-UIUC Institute for Engineering in Haining, China. The enterprise explores fundamental global issues in human health, energy and environment, and sustainable manufacturing. Three center-scale theme proposals have been initiated to start the operation of DREMES.
The DREMES 2021 Summer Workshop will take place July 19 and July 20; 7:30 - 10:00 PM. (U.S. CDT) via Zoom.
Presentations will be highlighted from the three major research projects currently in progress:
A). Center for Pathogen Diagnostics (CPD)
B). Adaptive, Resilient, Cyber-Physical Manufacturing Networks (CyMan)
C). Center for Infrastructure Resilience in Cities as Livable Environments (CIRCLE)
