For Illinois Computer Science Students:
Illinois Computer Science is pleased to be able to offer Nine (9) Department-Sponsored Conference Passes for this year's virtual Tapia Conference being held September 16-18, 2020. Recipients will receive a link/code to register to attend the virtual conference.
This opportunity is for students who are not already registered to attend the Virtual Tapia Conference.
Criteria:
- Must be an Illinois Computer Science Major
- To increase opportunities for students who are underrepresented in the field of computing, preference may be given to those who self-identify as a woman, non-binary, Black/African American, American Indian/Alaskan Native, Hispanic/Latinx, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander, and/or person with a disability
- Willingness to help represent and promote the department at the conference, spending at least one hour per day at the department's virtual booth
