This workshop will cover the basics of Praat scripting such as directory and interval iteration as well as the extraction of duration and formant information in addition to Praat scripting syntax. During the workshop, we will use write a Praat script that iterates over Praat textgrid and .wav files in a given directory, iterates over the Praat textgrid intervals, and extracts formant and duration information from the target intervals and saves this information to a csv file.
Prerequisite: Have Praat installed on your computer
